Quick guidance for teams playing on a phone or tablet during a live quiz.

  1. Scan the QR code or enter the join code shown by the host.
  2. Enter one team name. Use one phone or tablet per team.
  3. Wait for the host to start each question.
  4. Submit one answer. Once submitted, it is locked.
  5. Wait for the host to reveal the answer and leaderboard.

What to do if something happens

The QR code will not scanUse the four-digit join code instead.
You refreshed the pageStay on the same device. If you see Playing as your team name, you are reconnected and still in the quiz.
You are on the wrong teamUse Clear this device only if the host asks you to, then join again with the correct team name.
It says Team not foundThis phone may be linked to an old quiz or a removed team. Clear it, then enter the current join code from the host screen.
The timer endedLate answers are locked. Wait for the host to reveal the answer.
The question is hard to readScroll to the question and answers, turn the phone sideways if needed, and ask the host to read the question aloud.
Your answer looks wrong after revealTell the host. They can adjust scores if needed.
